Lectures in UNITEN

I have been taught by a lot of lectures in my life but never did i receive an amazing hospitality like the one i'm getting in this university.

of course they are both great but there has to be the top in the list.

Now let me introduce to you the one and the only  Mr Shuhairy Norhisham

Mr Shuhairy is one of the best lectures i have ever came across with in my life.
i have never felt happy, relaxed and motivated in any class like i do in his class.
He started by teaching me Auto card then later he taught me Highway and Transportation.

One of the reasons i like him is that he is more of a friend, a brother, and  a parent to every student of him..
you can just see by a smile on his face :)

I have never seen a lecture who socializes with his student in a perfect way like he does. The combination of seriousness, hard-work and fun in his class will make u wish the class will never end.
yeah!its something that a lot of students will never wish for, but i guarantee you in his class u will.

To me he is a true definition of a lecture with all the qualities that a lecture could ever wish for.

Good luck Mr Shuhairy and keep on doing your best

LECTURER UNITEN

Hi,

My favourite lecturer is Mrs.Saraswathy Shamini. She is in Graphic and Multimedia Department.
She was a Uniten student, now she become a lecturer in Uniten. She become my favourite because
I really like her teaching style.

She will ask student question about last class studies, this will help students remember what they studied.
Beside that, she encourage student to ask questions in class or make a appointment with her.
She is so sweet always smile while handle the students.

Uniten got a lot of  experience lecturer not oni Mrs.Saraswathy Shamini but my favourite lecturer is her.

Lecturers @ UNITEN

Hi guys!!!

This time it's on LECTURERS!

There are a lot of lectures in UNITEN and impossible for me to name them here. Some of the lectures are former UNITEN students.

My favourite lecturer is Mr. T. J. Iskandar. He is fondly known and called Mr. T.J.

He taught me Multimedia System Design (MSD) and Multimedia Application Development (MAD). He is one of the very friendly lecturers in UNITEN. He is very supportive and caring. He is more like a friend to us. Our class had an outing with him and a birthday celebration for him.

UNITEN would be more merrier if there we more lecturer like him.  

ILMU ACCOMMODATION IN UNITEN

This is Ilmu apartment. this apartment is for girls students only. Ilmu is twin haring apartment, there will be 4 students in one house. In room have cabinet, study table.Then dinning table, chair and table at hall.
Besides that, for safety there will be security 24hours. so, no need to be worry about anything.
If students wan buy any things there is a shop nearby the apartment its called Up10.
In short, Uniten give a best service and also safety place for students.

The 'Amanah' Apartment

Hi guys!

This week I'm going to tell you'll about the students accommodation at UNITEN especially AMANAH Apartment. There are 3 more apartments which are MURNI, ILMU and CENDIKIAWAN. MURNI mainly for girls and family. ILMU are mainly for girls but there is one last block which guys stay. These guys are mostly JPA scholars and their lecture sessions are at ILSAS or Library. Last but not least CENDIKIAWAN for guys.

AMANAH Apartment was my home during my Foundation. It's approximately a year before. Wow! Time flies indeed.

AMANAH is mainly for Foundation students but Degree students do stay there sometimes depending on availability. Each block also has a Resident staying in. Some of them are lecturers, UNITEN staff and some are not.

Amanah has few blocks and each block has 4 floor excluding ground floor. Each 4 block faces each other forming a square at the middle which is the badminton court. Each room has 2 twin sharing room, a bathroom, a toilet, kitchen, a living room and a balcony for drying cloths.

Besides that, AMANAH also has  2 laundry room and 2 water dispenser. It has a small shop (A House converted to become a shop) which operates ususally from 7pm till 12pm and from Monday to Friday. There are also ample of parking space for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.

The apartment is also guarded with 24 hours security and also monitored via CCTV.

Well, it has a very nice environment for students to leave. Surrounded with trees and leafy plants which maintains a cooling environment and continuous supply of fresh air and oxygen which is vital for human.

Hello to everyone once again.. Now it’s time to talk about Accommodation in uniten. There are 4 places that accommodate students and this are Cendikiawan,Amana,ILMU and Murni.. ! !

But for now our main focus is in a place called Cendikiawan..

                    

This is how i see Cendi while im in my room.!

The apartment consists of 4 bedrooms, kitchen, toile, bathroom and a leaving room.

Honestly, I would say it’s more advantageous staying here looking at the fact that the internet is free and the place is surrounded the most used facilities like football fields, tennis courts, swimming pool, DSS cafeteria and many more..!

Not only the above mentioned list are the only I like, also looking at the security that is provided in this place will purely make you feel at home

                

This is the guard house at the gate of cendikiawan. Here is where all the cars getting in and out of cendi are being monitors..

And talking about cars, there is every car packing provided to the student staying here..check it out!!

                      

 Yea I know it’s nice to sleep knowing that’s your car is nearby your side right??

Not only that, and secure.

There is also packing for motorbikes, don’t say I forgot u guyz! J here it is!

                

I know some are asking themselves where they will get reload, snacks, drinks and many more..

Well! relax!!!..and don’t mind about that because there is mini shop where you can get all that. So no need to travel long distances just for reload..

What we do here we save that time for studying..hahaha!

Facilities In Uniten

Hello everyone!!

Welcome again, I know most of you are asking what is this exquisite building displayed above. 

Well, today I’l be talking about some of the facilities you  find in uniten . Above is a picture the Residence Hotel, of the high ranked middle class hotel around. 

This hotel is situated near the lake which makes the view of it more appealing. 

Just imagine there feeling of a cold fresh breeze on a Saturday evening..hahaha! let not  talk about it more but you have to think about it ;)

                                                                                                                                                     

To all the sport men and sport women out there, im sure u will love this. 

Above is a picture of the uniten gymnasium, this gymnasium is located in Dewan Seri Serjan building. 

And this building is here u can find anything you need to keep your body fit. 

Actually!Not only the gym but if you are interested in badminton, table tennis, karate and aerobics this is a place to be. 

Oooh!and the thing that I like the most is that its only RM1 to be in the gym. WOOW! too cheap. Here in uniten we care about your health.

Well! While talking about health, we also have the Medical and Health center.

This is to avoid students from travelling long distances to get the medical attention they need.

The clinic is open weekdays from 8am-5pm and from 8am-1pm on Saturday.

Woow..this is indeed a great University to be.

Lecturer Alan Cheah @ UNITEN

Ya...
Today I will introduce one of my lecturer in my study life in UNITEN
He is Mr.Alan Cheah Kah Hoe

Ya..This is him...
He is major in Information System
And got at least 6 years of working experiences already...
Why I introduce him??
Because he had been teaching me in UNITEN when I was in Foundation Year...
Let me talk about Alan Cheah in teaching...
He is teaching me Basic Skills For Knowledge Workers...
The subject quite tough for me actually...
But Mr.Alan teach us in technically and all of students in class are very FOUS...
WHY??
Because he always give us positive pressure for us..guide us the correct ways of study...

Why I put Penguin picture??
This is because that Mr.Alan is a 'fan' toward open sources like LINUX...
That why he got a nickname is Mr.Penguin...
This is why alomost all of the students thought by him are very deep of impression....
The others of deep impression is SINBIN

This is SinBin

The meaning of Sin Bin by Mr.Alan is just a simple chair put in front of the class...
And its use is reserve for those who make noise or no concentrated in his class...
This way quite useful because almost all the students concentrated to his lecture...
And that why I feel this lecturer is quite smart.....
And must be a good lecturer too.....

Cendekiawan Accommodation in UNITEN

Today I will talk about the accommodation in UNITEN....
The accommodations are giving name respectively....
And I will introduce Cendekiawan(Cendi)!!

No problem!!!

AND here is my room in CENDI!!

Stay in Cendi accommodation got many advantages.

1st...It is more safety compare staying at outside...because it having guards here....

2nd....The accommodation near to the COIT building...Therefore, I just walk 5 minute then will reach my study place....hehe

3rd....It provide Internet acces here....Hence, students can enjoy the Internet in their room to do their stuff!!!

4th...It is pretty cold here...y???because Cendi accommodation at a higher place....Hence, it is quite cold man!!

5th...The night view from Cendi also quite good!!....Students can enjoy it much~~

AND

It near to other facilities of UNITEN like basketball court...swimming pool...gym...and etc...

Hence, students can just spend fews minutes then can reach....NO NEED waste time and energy....

AND

the food outlets also NEAR too!!!

students can eat dinner and also supper too here...

because the cafe open till midnight....

So, It very advance to stay at CENDI accommodation!!!

LASTLY,

It wont expensive too to stay at here...hahaXD

Facilities @ UNITEN

Hello readers! How are you'll? This week we are talking about the facilities at UNITEN. I'm going to talk on the Shuttle Bus Services.

Above is one of the shuttle bus that ferries student around the university compound. There are several bus stops and among them are opposite of Apartment Amanah, opposite of COIT, beside COE Food Court, beside Residence Hotel, opposite Apartment Ilmu, porch of Dewan Sri Sarjana (DSS), Imrish Cafe/ ATM Machine and opposite Administration Building. 

There are two routes which are Route A and Route B. The buses starts to ferry student from 7.00am till 6.30pm. The buses would be available approximately every 15 - 30 minutes. The service within UNITEN is free. 

Besides ferry student around university, there is also Shuttle  Bus / Van service to Commuter Station Serdang and The Mines Shopping Complex. However, this service is only available at certain time and with a minimum fee. Refer UNITEN External Shuttle Time Table . 

All the buses are air-conditioned and keep clean all the time.

Hope this gives you some idea on how students move around in UNITEN. 

Uniten Accommodation Facilities

University provide the accommodation facilities to students.
provided single, twin sharing and married apartment to those who are needed.
having four different apartment two for male that is cendikiawan and amanah,
for female is murni and ilmu. The apartment are fully furniture and get the d internet connection also.
kitchen, hall, study area all are provided, the room are more comfortable with  bed, side table and also cabinet.

Beside that, if got any damages will be repair once get complain from the students.

Facilities in UNITEN

Almost all the university provide facilities for students....
So well also for UNITEN....
UNITEN provide up-to-date facilities for learning, teaching and researches well as modern residential and recreational facilities....
Hence, students can enjoy using the facilities to relax after their study time or during learning too!!

This is the library in UNITEN!!
It is also one of the biggest of library among lots of universities in Malaysia!!
UNITEN library consist of 6 floors which there are 5 floors are collection of research book, study area and etc....
The six floor of the library is exam hall for the UNITEN students to have their final paper there....
Lots of students like to come here for revision and research..
Because the environments at library is very suitable and is a nice place for students

There are also food outlet in UNITEN....

The food outlets are having at College of Information Technology, College of Engineering, Library and also Dewan UNITEN...

Hence, the students in UNITEN can easy buy the food to eat after they finishing their class....

Besides, the price also affordable compare to outsides and food also tasty to eat!!!

There are also lots of social or sports facilities provided by UNITEN for students to relax after their study time...This is to encourage students not only EXCELLENT in academic but also in activities!!

In addition, there are also laboratories provided for students to carry out practical subject!!

This can enhance  the ability of students in learning and achieve a more higher of skills!!

For students that their hometown are far away from UNITEN...

UNITEN also provided accommodation for them...

The accommodation in UNITEN is safety, nice to stay, convenient, and also comfortable to stay!!

This is because accommodation is near to the study place, food outlet, sports court and also got house guard....

It is one of the best accommodation....

There are also transportation, healthy and medical canter, and hotel in UNITEN too!!!

Those facilities are to provide convenient and safety not only for students but also the visitors too!!!

The facilities provided is very sufficient..

Hence, there is no way to say NO for UNITEN!!

Facilities of Computing in UNITEN

Hey!! That is me!!

Yup I am in my Univeristy's Computer lab!!!(great!!)

UNITEN provide many facilities for the students in the campus....

And the one I like the most is Computing lab!!!

WHY??

Because I am an IT student!!!(haha!!!)

Actually the computing lab in UNITEN is very useful....

almost lots of students are doing their assignments here...

This is because the tools and the software here is the most updated...

example like programming software, designing software, etc....

This is the one of compter lab in UNITEN!!!(so many computer right??)

Besides,

There got also a personal use of computer deskstop for lecturer in the computing lab

which is the admin for the students computer in the lab

In addition, there are also a white board for lecturer to write down info for students during the class too!!

The reason why I like the facility of computing lab in UNITEN is because...

the environment here is very NICE!!

Plus, the internet connection and the software is very fast and updated....

Hence students study here sure will getting the "top" of informations and also the technique of certain software...

It also ensure the output quality of the material in lab!!

I sure the students In UNITEN very sacrifice of this computing lab!!
