Duration for foundation: 1 year
Duration for diploma: 2 years
Duration for undergraduates: 3 1/2 years

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Foundation: Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination with credits in Bahasa
Malaysia, English Language and good credits in four (4) relevant subjects which must include Mathematics, Additional Mathematics and Physics.

Undergraduates: Passed Foundation Programme/STPM/ A-Level/Matriculation/Diploma or equivalent qualification and have taken the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

 In Foundation Program, student need to complete total of 50 credit hours to continue to undergraduates. Meanwhile, In Undergraduates Program, students need to complete just total of 120 credits hours. It just an easy stuff!!Dont waste your opportunity!!COME JOIN US!!

1) Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineering) (Hons)
2) Bachelor of Computer Science (Systems and Networking) (Hons)

Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineering) (Hons)
The College of Information Technology has designed a comprehensive and innovative information technology programme tailored to meet the needs of the IT industry as well as the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Students who fullfill the academic requirements of the programme will receive the Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons)(Software Engineering) degree.

Career Prospects: Graduates from this programme may pursue careers in a wide range of capacities including software engineers, information system engineers, information system officers, programmers, system designers, system developers and IT project managers. There are also job opportunities in support areas such as marketing, sales, management consultancy and systems support.

Bachelor of Computer Science (Systems and Networking) (Hons)
The Department of Systems and Networking of COIT offers a high profile Computer Science undergraduate programme which leads to the award of Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons)(Systems and Networking). This programme is designed to prepare students for professional careers by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills in the area of communications and networking, operating systems, mobile and embedded technologies, computer security, artificial intelligence and other related areas. The programme is value-added in order to cater with the latest industry requirements where by selective syllabus of CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) are embedded within several of its courses. In addition to this, the Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons)(Systems and Networking) programme is also designed to enable students to pursue higher qualifications in system and networking such as to obtain a higher level specialized networking certification as well as Master of IT or Master of Computer Science degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree from reputable institutions of higher learning.
